Junior Associate / Post-Bar Law Clerk

A law firm with a national presence in high-stakes civil litigation is extending an invitation to emerging legal talent—whether newly licensed or awaiting bar results—to step into a richly experiential legal environment. Key Responsibilities

• Support senior litigators with foundational tasks across the life cycle of complex cases

• Draft and revise legal documents, including pretrial motions, memoranda, and research summaries

• Attend virtual or in-person proceedings to observe or assist with hearings, discovery disputes, and strategy sessions

• Conduct detailed legal and factual research to strengthen case theories and support filings

• Maintain communication with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams on case developments

• Participate in case review meetings, strategy briefings, and document analysis projects

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Experience & Background:

• 0–2 years of legal experience, including internships, clerkships, or clinical program participation

• Law school graduates who have recently taken the bar exam (pending results welcome)

• Previous exposure to litigation, civil procedure, or public interest advocacy is a plus

Education & Credentials:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution

• California Bar admission (active or pending)
