Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in California.
• 4+ years of civil defense experience, ideally in premises liability, catastrophic loss, and general liability.
• Premises and hospital security experience is a plus.
• Dispositive motion practice experience.
• Superior analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Legal project management experience is helpful.

• JD from an accredited law school.
