Job Overview

A law firm seeks an entry-level Associate Attorney for its labor and employment practice in Venice, FL. The role involves litigating federal employment cases, including discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination, across Florida.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Prepare EEOC charges and pre-suit demands.
• Communicate directly with clients and manage active matters.
• Support litigation in all three Florida federal districts and AAA arbitration.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar, or eligible to sit for an upcoming bar exam.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a busy caseload.
• Interest in plaintiff-side or employment law is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Florida Bar admission or eligibility to sit for the exam.
