The office is always jovial and, though some personalities do take getting used to, the sense of collegiality and collaboration is unmistakable. The firm culture is to do what's best for clients - even if it means collecting fewer legal fees. Being a smaller firm with half or lower the billable rate of BigLaw, the attorneys have a wider breadth of experience and volume of work. Very practical-minded.ConsThe low-star criticisms below by former staff are not unfounded. However, they are hyperbolic by perhaps disgruntled former employees who did not work out for whatever reason. Sometimes management is slow or lacking in strategy when setting or changing policy. Sometimes, the "tail wags the dog" at GW.
