Wells, Anderson & Race is a civil litigation law firm with a team-oriented atmosphere and competitive salaries and benefits. The firm has good corporate clients and case management support, allowing associates to have autonomy and work on all aspects of a case. However, the experience at the firm can depend largely on the practice group and members one works for, as the hierarchy is clear and some members can be uncommunicative and have unreasonable expectations. There is also no clear path to partnership and the members are more focused on maintaining their own practices than helping associates develop business. Despite this, the firm is a great place to learn and participate in civil litigation, with no collections required, and it allows for good experience for young lawyers.
