The firm's senior attorneys train you to handle your own cases from their inception to settlement or trial. I feel that I am truly part of a team that values my ideas and hard work. Unlike first-year attorneys at other firms, here I get hands-on experience in all important stages of the cases including court appearances, depositions, mediation, and arbitration. The managing partner and senior attorney are supportive and will provide guidance when needed.As with most successful firms, this is a fast-paced environment. You will have your own caseload and will be in regular contact with clients and opposing counsel. It is important that you live up to your resume and the representations you make during your interview regarding your experience. If you cannot handle the most basic of litigation tasks after representing otherwise (e.g. if your resume describes yourself as ""totally experienced") you should expect to be micromanaged so as not to jeopardize your clients' case and the integrity of this firm.After being with the firm for 1 year, my hard work has not gone unnoticed. The firm offers many incentives and just in my 1-year span, these have grown to reflect my dedication and perseverance. There is a great benefits package, salary, bonuses, and even free lunch. There is also a fully-stocked fridge and pantry with snacks and drinks!ConsI have been with the firm for almost exactly 1 year and have not come across any cons of working here at LOYR, APC.Advice to ManagementEffective and proper case management is very important when working for LOYR, APC.
