Cons: A disastrous experience with Cona Elder Law that I would not recommend to anyone. They worked on my mother's Medicaid application for nearly 5 months and charged me almost $15,000, but the application was still not complete. My wife and I spent a month gathering missing information, making numerous phone calls and trips to the bank. We did the work that we paid Cona Elder Law to do, but it was a nightmare and the last thing you need after losing a loved one. In particular, Melissa Negrin-Wiener and Diana Choy-Shan were particularly challenging to work with. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of Cona Elder Law.
