Sharon A. Christie is an attorney and a nurse. She is an advocate for people who can no longer work because of an illness or injury, but are too young to retire. She helps them get Social Security disability benefits. Sharon worked as a nurse in both acute and long-term care settings prior to attending law school. In 1986, she graduated magna cum laude from The University of Notre Dame Law School. She has practiced law since that time and is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
