Pros: 5.0 Former Employee, more than 1 yearAmazing Austin Family Law FirmAssociate Attorney in Austin, TX ProsI feel very lucky to have started my practice as an attorney at Kirker Davis. In my opinion the best part of working there is the team- I don't think you'll find a firm with more friendly, supportive, and down to earth attorneys in Austin. I felt welcomed right away and everyone genuinely loves working together and has fun doing so. That said, they also know how to work hard and are very talented at what they do, from the bottom up. Speaking as a younger everyone there, but also know how to work hard and are very talented at what they do from the bottom up. attorney, I was able to learn from the more experienced attorneys who were always happy to train, answer questions, and give advice. There are also good systems in place, such as how they manage the intake process and team structure, that can give you a lot of experience very quickly but still with support.ConsWhile this wasn't a con for me, it is a very hands-on learning environment. If you want help, training, or advice you will absolutely receive it, but I don't think Kirker Davis is as good of a fit for attorneys who want an extensive onboarding/training process or aren't comfortable working up to being first chair attorneys. Additionally, while I don't believe it is any way intentional and everyone is very inclusive, Kirker Davis is has a lot of LGBTQ and gender diversity, but not much racial/ethnic diversity.
