Summary

Walters Gilbreath is a law firm that has been praised by many of its employees for its flexible hours, work-life balance, and commitment to professional development. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and management actively engages with employees to get feedback and ensure that they are meeting their expectations. The salary is adequate and the new facilities are said to be clean.

However, the firm has also been criticized for its technology-dependent approach, which may not be suitable for those who are behind on current forms of communication and commerce. Additionally, some employees have complained of intimidation, bullying, belittling, and ignoring staff in the daily operations of management. False accusations and assumptions have been made against staff, and there is often no clear communication regarding expectations until management or the partners take a moment to realize that things are not being done to their standards.

Pros: 5.0 Current Employee, less than 1 yearFast paced, great for the self motivatedClient Development Associate in Houston, TX ProsHaving a more sales focused role within the company, (I am not an attorney), it is exciting and rewarding to be working in a role geared towards helping people towards a better life. The firm focuses on having state of the art technology to keep things running as efficiently as possible and upper management is open to fresh perspectives and new ideas.ConsThe firm is extremely fast paced and so there may not be a lot of hand holding through the onboarding process, which could be a positive or negative depending on how someone works. The firm is also growing quickly and different operating systems are being introduced, so being open and agile to new ideas is required in order to keep up.
