afCaplin & Drysdale is a highly respected law firm with a small, collegial atmosphere. It has a reputation for being one of the best places to learn about tax law. Associates at the firm have the opportunity to work directly and closely with partners on highly complex and sensitive matters. The partners are well respected and highly intelligent, and they take their role in developing the associates seriously. However, there are some drawbacks to working at this firm, such as the hybrid working environment which is not suited for everyone. Additionally, the office is in need of an update and morale is low. The base salary is also below-market, but benefits and bonuses may make up for the difference. Despite these drawbacks, the overall reviews of Caplin & Drysdale are positive, with many former employees noting the firm's great collegiality and terrific working environment.
