What was the single best thing about working with them-and what's one area they could improve?:
Don't use this firm. They drag out a agreed 50/50 child support order for a year & then they have case close but still try and take money that's paid in full. Lawyer res-scheduled court date 3 times without telling both parties so we got off work and he never showed. We called and no answer from him or office had no clue. We only found out from the court. When they finally drew the papers up they had info from someone elses case on their and no even all of ours we agreed on and their excuse was that their 65 yr old assistant got the papers mixed up. How does that happen if the lawyer went over the paperwork. I guess he didn't really go over it like he said he did. David Lane also never showed up to court on our court date and no answer AGAIN. The office had no idea and the judge even waited a hour and tried calling him multiple times. Now $14,000 was spent and you think they will refund any of that due to purposely re-scheduling our date to drag it out and having to redo paperwork that he never read. NOPE! And when we contact him he had our number blocked and never returns calls. Even called the firm and management was supposed to call us back. Did they? NOPE! My friends mom who is going through chemo and cancer is trying to help us out with this and this is a nightmare. Everyone I know is done in 2 months for a agreed upon child support order but these people drag out a year. Must be nice to just take someones money and not do the work. David Lane needs his license REVOKED! Scammers!
