It enjoys significant name recognition and prestige among security law attorneys. From day one, their associates are exposed to the ins and outs of SEC enforcement actions, FCPA matters, and other similar types of cases. Matters are usually staffed with one partner and one associate, so associates quickly assume significant responsibility. The partners really know their practice, so associates learn from the best.ConsBecause of the tight staffing preferences, the workload can become significant at times. Associates must also dedicate large portions of time to tasks normally assigned to paralegals or other non-attorney staff.
