It is with significant disappointment that I must caution anyone considering legal representation by R. Eugene Torrenti. My experience with him fell far below the standard of professionalism one should expect from an attorney.

After we had reached a mutual agreement regarding representation, I was taken aback when I experienced what I perceived to be a unilateral change to the financial terms—specifically, a substantial increase to both the retainer and the hourly rate. When I sought clarification on this matter, I was met with what I found to be highly unprofessional and disrespectful language that I would not expect from any legal professional.

Furthermore, I was later informed that Mr. Torrenti had represented to another attorney that he had ended our relationship, despite the fact that I had already terminated his services.

I have formally reported my concerns to the Connecticut, Florida, and Pennsylvania Bar Associations for their review and investigation. I encourage anyone considering Mr. Torrenti's services to proceed with caution and to thoroughly vet all agreements before retaining him.
