Reviews of the firm are overwhelmingly positive, with people citing its great people, good technology, fair hours, nice office, and strong mentorship program. Employees also report that the firm has a good camaraderie, with social events and a nice atmosphere. Additionally, the bonus structure is decent for a civil defense firm and there are paid benefits and parking.
However, there are some drawbacks to working at Yukevich | Cavanaugh. Many employees have reported that while the firm states a billable hour requirement, they expect more than what is stated. There is also a high turnover rate due to the low base salary and high billable hour requirements, as well as the fact that the firm hires young people. Additionally, the work-at-home program is ending soon and the owners only care about show.
All in all, Yukevich | Cavanaugh is a great place to work, with its great people, decent bonus structure, and good technology. However, people should be aware of the high billable hour requirements and low base salary before taking a job at the firm.

Advice to law firm management: Pay Expert invoices!!!!
Cons: Beware of working for Yukevich Cavanaugh in LA. After 16 years of trading, I have just had my first instance of non-payment - a supposedly reputable firm of attorneys, Yukevich Cavanaugh (based in Los Angeles), have avoided payment and avoided responding to my numerous emails.It is particularly frustrating as I provided a 6½ hour Deposition last August which, allegedly, was extremely useful for their client. I had been told that my tyre failure report had been shared with other tyre manufacturers and had been considered to be "the best they had ever seen by an Expert". So, don't be fooled by warm words and obviously think hard if ever approached by Yukevich Cavanaugh.
