"Kristin Smola at Cohen Cleary, PC" - Anonymous

Advice to law firm management: N/A

Pros: Via a recommendation from my former Divorce Attorney's firm, I contacted Attorney Kristin Smola pertaining to seeking legal Guardianship of our two granddaughters. I was familiar with the attorney that represented the father of the grandchildren. So far, Kristin has run circles around the previous attorney. She has aggressively represented our case and fought for our position. The firm has also placed a legal aid on our team to do the menial items that need to be done so as to reduce our costs. Considering that Kristin is going against a mother who told the judge that "she is smart and does not need legal representation" makes her job more difficult. As the mother wants to play by "her rules" and ignores court protocols.
My wife and I would highly recommend Kristin on any family court matter.

Cons: So far we have no cons to report. Only thing was that Kristin was promoted to Senior Associate this year thus increasing her hourly cost. To offset that increase, they did assign a legal aid at a much lower cost to complete assignments that were once handled by Kristin so as to reduce the overall costs of the case.
