Linda Cheryl (Hill) Carter has lived in Maryland since 1969 when her military family was transferred to the Washington metropolitan area. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1978, and the University of Maryland School of Law in 1982. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar that same year. From the time she was in college until recently, Linda worked at a very well-respected Prince George's County law firm. When she was first admitted to the Bar, the firm was small, and that small size afforded Linda to handle a broad spectrum of matters including contracts, domestic litigation, estate planning, trusts, zoning, business, administrative, general civil litigation, and juvenile adjudication.
