BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

irtant to you.

Holden Litigation is a small law firm with three offices located in the United States. Reviews of the firm suggest that it is a place where attorneys and support staff can find a close-knit team of colleagues eager to offer advice without attitude. The firm is also committed to increasing its diversity and many associates have been promoted to partner after proving their worth to the firm. Additionally, managing partner Steve Holden is said to enjoy mentoring younger attorneys.

However, the reviews also suggest that the firm expects a lot from its attorneys and support staff. Long hours are common and the workload can be overwhelming, making it a challenging and stressful environment at times. The firm also demands a high level of attention to detail, meaning that those who do not prioritize this or who are not able to complete projects on time may not find a good fit at Holden Litigation. Additionally, some reviewers have suggested that the firm could benefit from allowing more down time for its attorneys and staff.

Overall, Holden Litigation appears to be a firm that is dedicated to the success of its attorneys and staff. They have a commitment to diversity and promotion from within, and the managing partner is said to be eager to mentor young attorneys. However, the firm is also known for its high expectations and demanding workload, making it a challenging and stressful environment at times. Those who are able to meet these expectations and handle the workload will likely find success at Holden Litigation.

Pros: 5.0 Current EmployeeGood Place To Learn and GrowAttorney ProsLitigation firms that really does high end litigation. Very interesting, high exposure cases. Collaborative atmosphere to learn from seasoned lawyers—Sr. Partner on every file with the assigned attorney. Paralegals on every file. High expectations for all employees to operate at a high level of competency so others are not held back. Fun co-workers for the most part. File by file feedback..part of their continual learning approach. Pay systems works as those performing make appropriate pay—a meritocracy.ConsTheir clients have a lot at stake so lack of 'care to detail' would be a problem for anyone not detailed. Don't apply if you are not detailed, if you don't get projects completed on time, or if your work quality is not important to you. Because of their collaborative system any staffer that is lazy or just looking for a paycheck won't last long. Employees who are good sometimes get a lot to do as they rise quickly. You have to speak up if the load gets to much—management doesn't notice quickly, and they seem to rely on people speaking up to help manage the load.

Pros: 5.0 Current Employee, more than 3 yearsGreat Place for Advancement and MentoringLegal Assistant ProsProspective attorneys and support staff should know that this firm is looking to increase its diversity. I've also seen a good number of associates promoted to partner after proving their value to the firm. Attorneys wanting to learn litigation should be aware that our managing partner Steve Holden enjoys mentoring. Mid-career attorneys will also find room for additional senior attorneys. Support staff also benefits from a close knit team that is eager to help and offer advice without attitude. This is a small firm with three offices and you won't get lost in the crowd. Everyone does important work and your work gets noticed. I'm a senior legal assistant. This is my 11th firm. I recommend it for those ready to get to work and ready for recognition.ConsWe could use a little down time.
