BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

Williams Kastner, a law firm based in Seattle, Washington, offers its employees a supportive, family-friendly work environment with flexible scheduling and hybrid work options. The firm prides itself on its diversity and inclusion, with 40% of its Board of Directors and 50% of its Paralegal staff coming from diverse backgrounds. Though the office space is a bit dated, the firm is working on tech upgrades.

The staff at Williams Kastner are highly appreciated and treated well, with unlimited La Croix and fruit baskets and snacks. Unfortunately, some of the legal assistants are worked to the bone and are expected to be available all the time. Additionally, the management and attorneys have been known to be overly demanding and belittle staff, forcing them to return to the office in the midst of the Covid pandemic.

Overall, Williams Kastner provides its staff with a supportive work environment with a focus on diversity and inclusion. However, the management and attorneys could stand to treat staff with more respect and understanding.
