BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

duel, you may not get paid for the days you're not in the office.

Burns White is a law firm located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The firm has been in business for over a century and has established itself as a competitive and respected law firm. According to reviews, the Managing Partner is described as laid back and the competitive pay and benefits are appreciated by employees. The firms location is beautiful and employees rarely have to work overtime and are able to set their own work hours. On top of that, there is a discounted parking rate and early out Fridays.

The firm is also praised for its diversity of employees, and paralegals and legal assistants are seen as extremely kind and helpful. Employees have noted that they appreciate the good work life balance, nice office, and good coworkers. The average billables are also seen as a plus.

Unfortunately, the firm does not offer much in the way of career building for its paralegals and legal assistants. It does not recognize certifications, there are no structured CLE or pro bono opportunities, and there is no bonus structure or year-end holiday bonus for paralegals. There are also no sick days and hybrid schedules may not be paid for.

Overall, Burns White is seen as a great place to work with competitive pay and benefits, a good work life balance, and a nice office. However, it is lacking in career building opportunities for its paralegals and legal assistants and may not be the best choice for those looking to advance their careers.
