Overall Summary:

Abrams, Cohen & Associates is a law firm with a friendly work environment and helpful boss. The attorneys, staff, and paralegals are friendly and laid back. The firm specializes in No-Fault Fraud Litigation in Declaratory Judgment actions, as well as investigations leading up to litigation, arbitrations, and Examinations Under Oath. Management is sympathetic to employee fairness in terms of workload, salary and compensation.

However, there are some negative aspects to the firm. You will be very busy, and the turn-over rate is high. Pay is very low for the amount of work expected from individuals and there are not many benefits. There is also some competition among staff and management, which can be a hindrance to those looking to gain knowledge in the field. Additionally, there is a lack of diversity in the firm, as all the attorneys are white and all the staff and paralegals are minorities. This could be a hindrance to those looking to advance their careers.

Pros: 5.0 Current Employee, less than 1 yearIt's a good place to workAttorney in New York, NY ProsI think you need to take the strongly negative reviews with a grain of salt. The firm is not for everyone, but if you have a work ethic and care about the work you will thrive there. There are going to be disgruntled people where ever you work.ConsYou have to be self-motivated and responsible. If those are not your strong-suits, you will not have success there.
