Management only cares for themselves. Co-employees stab each other in the back. No on the job training, only computer training1.0 Former Employee, more than 5 yearsNot for women2 Nov 2021 - Attorney in Miami, FL ProsThey tell you they're a ""nice"" firm but I think they should say they're a ""polite"" firm. Putting on a smile and being nice are two different things.ConsThere's no support here for women and they won't fire you but they will put the kind of pressure that will sure make you quit. Most associates leave because they're told to bill bill bill but really you won't have enough work to bill as much as they want you to. Then you will sit yearly at an evaluation where you will be told your performance is mediocre, but they won't give you more work so you can be profitable. You will sit there and pretend it's your fault and apologize and you won't get a raise or a bonus. They will also tell everyone that they're a modern firm and you can work from home and that they're flexible but that's also untrue. They want you there, physically. They want to control when you're working and know that you're there. Unless you're someone who doesn't care about spending time with family and you are career and money obsessed, I would invest my time elsewhere.Advice to ManagementMove to the 21st century in terms of work and technology. Increase diversity at the top (women, blacks, etc.)

Cons: I worked at Shutts & Bowen LLP as a former employee in Jacksonville, FL and my experience was less than desirable. The protocols and procedures in place were unbelievable and the management seemed to only care about themselves. The work environment was cutthroat, with co-employees constantly stabbing each other in the back. The only training provided was computer training, with no on-the-job training to help me succeed in my role.
