Lozano Smith.

I've been impressed by the stories of the firm's kindness to its clients, and the attorneys and staff at Lozano Smith. I can't stop talking about what a positive place it is to work.
The experience with Paula Shockley was fantastic - they demonstrated professionalism, asked relevant questions, and followed up quickly.

BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

inky culture is palpable.

Lozano Smith is a law firm that has been highly rated by its employees, both current and past. Many of its reviews are positive, citing its open-door culture, family-oriented atmosphere, and generous holiday bonuses. Additionally, its managing partner is said to be talented, respectable, and understanding. Furthermore, the firm has been praised for its sensitivity to inclusion and for its constant flow of team-bonding activities.

However, there are a few issues that have been brought up in the reviews. Some partners and senior attorneys are said to be difficult to deal with, and clients can be difficult as well. Additionally, there have been complaints of inconsistent quality expectations and standards from assigning partners/attorneys to another. Billable hours are sometimes cut on work completed for certain clients, and not everyone follows the "no jerk" policy. Lastly, there has been criticism of the lack of training and the company's tendency to set employees up for failure.

Overall, while Lozano Smith has many positive reviews, there are some concerns that should be addressed. However, the overall atmosphere of the firm is said to be positive and supportive, and employees have praised its holiday bonuses and family-oriented atmosphere. Therefore, if one is looking for a law firm that is supportive and understanding of its employees, Lozano Smith could be a good option.
