we need.Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, PLC is a law firm located in Phoenix, Arizona. It has been around for over 100 years and is well known in the community for its high quality work. The firm has a strong focus on its clients and providing excellent legal services.
The firm has a positive reputation among its employees. The Human Resources Director is described as amazing and supportive of both attorneys and staff. The pay and perks are reported to be good and the workplace is professional. There is a family atmosphere at the firm, with staff events to help everyone feel included. There is also a good system in place and the staff is said to be nice.
However, the expectations at the firm are very high and new HR and Accounting departments were brought in in 2020-2021. In January 2023, the firm did layoffs of mostly aged staff after a hiring spree in 2022. Some of the attorneys are seen as superior to the staff and people are not always willing to take the time to speak with others. There is also a problem with a lack of feedback and surprise firings. Upper management and the Managing Partner have been described as terrible. There is also sometimes difficulty in balancing assignments, and a lack of access to outside resources.
In conclusion, Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, PLC is a well known and respected law firm in Phoenix, Arizona with many years of experience. The majority of reviews from its employees are positive, noting the supportive Human Resources Director, good pay and perks, family atmosphere, nice staff, and good systems. Very supportive and a great collaboration between the attorneys and the support staff. Every single person on the staff is amazing! Pay is good and perks are great. This is a very fast paced, professional environment, not intended for those who don't wish to give it their all and work hard.ConsExpectations are very high, but it's not necessarily a 'con'.
