BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

dont expect to get rich.

Cooper Levenson is a boutique law firm with offices in Atlantic City and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The firm is a popular choice for many attorneys because of its interesting practice areas and large firm benefits. The pay and benefits are considered to be decent, and employees generally report that the IT and health insurance support is good.

In terms of the work experience, most attorneys report that the firm is accommodating and has a good work/life balance. Staff are friendly and the attorneys are willing to teach. The quality of work is considered to be high for a reasonable price.

However, there have been some criticisms of the firm. The summer program has been criticised for not offering clerks the opportunity to work in areas that interest them. There has also been a lack of diversity reported in terms of race and ethnicity. The building is considered to be old, dirty and unventilated, and there is a feeling that only billing employees are valued. The firm also does not offer any assistance in advertising or building business.

In addition to the criticisms, many employees have reported that the staff are rude, that the pay is not competitive and that there is no loyalty to long-term hourly employees. The schedule is also said to be inflexible and there is not considered to be a team environment.

All in all, Cooper Levenson is considered to be a good law firm to work for and has many positive aspects. However, it is important to consider the criticisms before making the decision to work there. The firm is best suited to those who are looking for a good work/life balance and are willing to overlook some of the criticisms mentioned.
