utions of the politicsShendell & Pollock is a law firm that has had many positive reviews from attorneys and others who have worked there. The firm offers a great work-life balance with dynamic case load, decent pay and medical benefits with partial employer contribution. The firm also offers opportunities for growth and always something new to learn from the diverse set of cases they handle. Senior attorneys take the time to mentor younger attorneys and staff, and management is flexible with up to 2 days a week from home.
However, there are some negative reviews that have been reported. Some female partners have not been provided with the same benefits as male partners, and there have been reports of verbally abusive behavior. Additionally, there is high turnover due to management, and everyone will know every good (and bad) thing about you and tell others. Management will gang up if they don’t like you, and if you are a lower-level employee, be prepared for Partners and managers to treat you as such.
Overall, Shendell & Pollock is a law firm that offers many opportunities for growth and learning. However, it is important to be aware of the potential issues that have been reported in order to best prepare yourself for the environment. Despite the reports of negative behavior, the firm has still received many positive reviews from attorneys and others who have worked there.

Advice to law firm management: This law firm should be shut down.
Pros: Lost for words
Cons: Shendell and Pollock attorney Matthew Tornincasa aided and abetted a forged document. He used corruption to win a probate case. Shendell and Pollock by default did not have any experience in probate litigation prior to 2010 but took on the case anyway with an influence by their client. They took advantage of someone with a disability by the use of fraud and corruption to win. There was an estate value of 50 million dollars. Matthew Tornincasa was well aware that their client, the power of attorney, only claimed 6 million with 44 million dollars of unclaimed assets.
After the fact, Shendell and pollock in Florida called the Sacramento police department in California in 2019 on a false claim of a death threat. They also called the child protective services in California on child abuse. CPS came to my home to try to take my child away while the Police department tried to have me arrested of a false death threat.
My child was not removed from my home and I was not arrested. Me being disabled does not know the proper civil or criminal actions to take.
