Stoel Rives is a mid-sized law firm with a wide range of clients in the renewable energy industry. Reviews from attorneys and other staff members are largely positive, with many praising the resources and opportunities for advancement, competitive pay, work-life balance, flexible remote work policy, generous HSA contribution, great company culture, structure and plenty of opportunity for growth. Non-pay benefits are also viewed positively. However, there are some issues reported by some staff members, including a high discrepancy between attorneys and non-attorneys, toxic work culture due to upper management allowing attorneys to do whatever they want as long as they bring enough revenue to the firm, terrible managers with no interest in developing or retaining talent, and abysmal diversity.
