"Compensation is iffy" - Anonymous
Advice to law firm management: Giving an annual raise of < 2% every year is very demotivational, especially for a firm that claims to reward merit and performance. Comp is 30-50% lower than similar firms in the same regions.
Pros: Great colleagues, good firm culture, plenty of work
Cons: Lack of support staff for associates, compensation is comparatively very low (especially for experienced associates), poor work/life balance, insultingly low annual raises

Cons: Working at Dickinson Wright PLLC is not a good experience. While PTO time is available for personal needs and doctor visits, the workplace is otherwise problematic. Paralegals are not respected and are paid low salaries, and the family law attorneys are notorious for treating staff poorly.
