How would you rate the overall culture of your law firm?
Attorneys are petty looking to point out mistakes but taking no responsibility for their own. Sometimes blaming their mistake on you.
How manageable were the hours and expectations at your firm?
Hours were manageable with the ability to work from home and at the office.
What opportunities for advancement or partnership were available?
Only advancement here came with billable hours. It didn't really matter how many times an attorney messed up a case as long as they covered it with more billable hours and new clients. 100% focused on money coming in the door instead of quality representation.
Would you recommend this firm to other attorneys?
Only if you wanted something to put on your resume.

Pros: 5.0 Current Employee, more than 1 yearCovid-19 ConcermsLegal Secretary in New York, NY ProsCozen is a very nice firm. The managers and staff are excellent.ConsI am concerned that Cozen has poor communication when it comes to who is infected in the NY office with Covid.-19 First, attorney's and staff who get infected with Covid-19 and you only find out through office gossip from a fellow co-worker. An attorney had Covid-19 and came back into the office and wears a mask. If you are an assistant or staff, it is mot fair. They can still be infected even if they feel better. I was wondering why the attorney wore a mask and then found out it is because the attorney had Covid-19 and was the reason the attorney did not come into the office the prior week. Some people have loved ones they have to go home to. This is my only concern at the Cozen NY office.Advice to ManagementThere needs to be better transparency on who has Covid-19.
