BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

the door.

McGlinchey Stafford is a law firm with a strong focus on family values and community. According to reviews, the people at the firm are friendly, knowledgeable, and kind, and the firm takes care of its employees as much as possible, with flexible hybrid-remote work schedules and great benefits. The company also cares about diversity and inclusion and does a lot of team building. However, some reviews note that there is an issue with management of workflow in some offices, with some attorneys billing 200 hours and others struggling to hit 100 for months on end due to lack of work being assigned. Additionally, the need for nearly every assignment to be reviewed can create a massive slow-down in work going out the door. Despite these issues, overall reviews of McGlinchey Stafford are positive, with many people feeling that the firm is a great place to work and grow.

Pros: 5.0 Current Employee, more than 1 yearPeople I can BBQ WithFeb 17, 2021 - Business Professional in New Orleans, LA ProsWhen I interviewed with McGlinchey my spouse asked how it went and I replied, ""These are people we can BBQ with."" It's the people who make the firm and at McGlinchey I am working with some of the most ethical, creative, and compassionate lawyers, administrators, and professionals. A few of the positives I have found: - The firm has a vision of where they want to be and a plan on how to get there; - During the pandemic, firm leadership has been accommodating to people across the offices who have differing challenges. This has led the firm to create a virtual working policy that will carry us beyond the pandemic; - There is an openness to proactive address the changes facing the legal industry as the business of law continues to evolve; - Transgender inclusion is something important to me and my family. The firm has taken steps to ensure that we are fully inclusive from our healthcare to our use of gender pronouns and inclusive language in all documents.ConsWhen a ""con"" arises it is dealt with by the firm's current leadership team.
