The best part of about working here is the awesome group of litigation associates. The associates really look out for each other and work as a team. There is zero drama among the associates and if anyone needs help, all the other associates are willing to help. Compensation and benefits are very competitive. Firm really values entrepreneurship, if you have a book, even a small book of business as an associate, you can receive very generous origination bonuses. Firm very much supports associate business development. Very low turnover among the attorneys. The partners are great, and all are top attorneys.ConsNot really a con, but the firm expects the highest quality work product, so not a place to chill. Also, some partners have different expectations, so you'll need to learn those.

Great atmosphere, really nice and supportive people. Never once felt intimidated or mistreated by senior partners. Great culture and values. Since SWSS is a small law firm, it allows the management team to easily help everyone feel comfortable and meet their needs. Every time theirs a hiccup, an immediate team meeting follows to address the problem and find a resolution + future prevention. Management team really cares about their employees and you are recognized for your accomplishments. The firm encourages learning with various training opportunities and feedback for each engagement. You accrue a decent amount of PTO rather quickly and they're very accommodating to taking time off. Some roles are able to work from home, for now, but they'd like you to come in 1-2 days per week. Great benefits, very nice offices downtown, and they compensate parking. They do lunch celebrations, luncheons, Friday breakfasts, subsidized vending machine and company events. The hiring process was wonderful and easily streamlined. All expectations were made clear throughout the entire process. My former team members have been wonderful to work with and I was able to learn and grow as an employee and was able to create relations that will last me a life time.ConsNo complaints, I've loved working here.
