The firm is a proud founding member of the Managing Partners Diversity Collaborative Agreement, a commitment between Grand Rapids law firms and the Grand Rapids Bar Association to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the West Michigan legal community. The Agreement has established an Action Plan to address three key challenges. Miller Johnson is also an active participant in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's (LCLD) Fellows Program and the 1L LCLD Scholars Program. They have also signed on to the LCLD Leaders at the Front Diversity Initiative, aimed at breaking down systemic barriers that prevent underrepresented attorneys from reaching the highest levels of leadership in law firms and corporate legal departments. CEO Rich Sorota is the latest firm leader to join this initiative.
