BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

time in some projects and sometimes lack of communication.

Kobre & Kim is a law firm that specializes in dispute resolution and international legal services. The reviews of the firm are mixed, with some positive and some negative.

The positive reviews describe the firm as having great mentors that provide lots of responsibility, a great tech team that is understanding, and great learning opportunities if you wish to go to law school. It also noted the friendly environment with genuine camaraderie among the analysts, and the ability to work remotely if requested.

The negative reviews, however, point to a lack of bi-annual performance reviews, a feeling of being overworked and underpaid, a lack of sound management processes, low wages for the number of hours put in, a boys club culture, a fear of making decisions, and a lack of lead time and communication in some projects.

Overall, the reviews of Kobre & Kim seem to be a mixed bag. While the positive reviews suggest that the firm provides great learning and mentorship opportunities, the negative reviews point to a culture of overwork and underpayment. It is also suggested that the firm could benefit from more sound management processes, better pay for its analysts, and improved communication.
