How would you rate the overall culture of your law firm?
Horrible working environment nothing good about working here. Long hours.,The older lady in management lacks knowledge of the legal field and also lacks knowledge on how to treat employees. She talks over you in meetings and constantly stirs the pot. Instead of learning opportunities or training it's all about drinking at lunches or happy hours. With over 30 people who have left in less than 2 years , how are these 2 managers keeping their jobs.

How manageable were the hours and expectations at your firm?
Low expectations.

What opportunities for advancement or partnership were available?
No reason to work here unless you want to get talked down to by her or the attorneys. No inclusive teamsl, unprofessional and no women attorneys in leadership roles speaks volumes. Management is the absolute worst. Unhappy people here.

Would you recommend this firm to other attorneys?
No. From pinning people against each other to not being able to keep employees this place is a disaster. What is told to you on your interview is completely different once you start. You get hired to work with a few attorneys but she constantly moves you around to different attorneys.

The steps they take to make every employee feel a part of a team makes coming to work every day an enjoyable experience. The opportunity for growth and the allowance to continue learning different aspects of the business gives you a sense of self-worth inside your position. The CEO Michelle Foster made my experience that much more pleasant. From when she personally came into my interview to meet with me to being a part of day-to-day operations shows that she is a team player who is involved in every aspect of her business and has set everyone and the company up for success. It was so nice to be able to connect with a CEO of a large firm on a more personal level and know that she was always there for you no matter how big or small the circumstance, as that is rare at most places. As for the employees, which have been with the company for many years, are very helpful and attentive to their roles. Carolyn Van Fleet, the HR, has been nothing but supportive and helpful throughout my employment, I truly believe she plays a huge role in making MacElree Harvey such a wonderful place to work at. Between the employees, the CEO, and HR, MacElree Harvey has a very close professional bond that has proven to be successful for all the right reasons. If it wasn't for having to relocate, I would have made a long term career at MacElree. It is with utmost disappointment having to leave behind such an amazing position within such a respectable company. MacElree Harvey is a dream career to anyone looking for a long-term position in a positive atmosphere that comes with amazing perks.ConsThe only Con is that I have to relocate to another state and leave behind my dream job. MacElree Harvey is continuing to head in the right direction and I have nothing bad to say about my former employment
