Cons: You*re hired under the false pretenses that it is a great and harmonious place of employment with room for growth. Training is thoroughly provided however the expectations are unrealistic. Leader talk badly about the attorneys and staff openly. Co-workers are allowed to demean, harrass, curse and make your work life horrible. If you complain or report it to management and/or corporate they then become your nemesis making your job unbearable forcing you to quit. There is blatant favortism and a lot of office politics. I have never encountered a more mismanaged office than this one. There is a reason the turn over is so frequent. The pros were the salary, training and benefits. If those positives mean more to you than your sanity and self respect than this office will suit you.

Advice to law firm management: Leadership should inspire—and actually lead. When multiple attorneys are quietly sharing with each other that they*re applying elsewhere, it*s not a one-off problem. It*s a systemic one. People aren*t leaving because they can*t handle the work. They*re leaving because they*re tired of the way they*re being treated. If that doesn*t prompt self-reflection, nothing will.
Cons: If you*re hoping to grow professionally, be treated like a respected colleague, or work in an environment where mistakes are addressed with constructive feedback—this is not the place. The culture is rooted in fear, blame, and micromanagement. Expect to be publicly criticized for minor or imagined errors and spoken to in ways that are unprofessional and demoralizing.
Leadership is rigid, unapproachable, and more focused on catching mistakes than mentoring talent. You*re not empowered to succeed—you*re monitored for failure. Even small typos become excuses to question your competence. Instead of collaboration, you*re met with hostility masked as ...attention to detail.'
Leadership is obsessed with perfection from others while consistently slacking on their own responsibilities. They miss internal deadlines, delay decisions, and disappear when support is actually needed—only to later reemerge with critiques that feel more performative than productive. There*s no real mentorship or collaboration—just constant scrutiny, shifting expectations, and a general air of distrust.
