Advice to law firm management: Clean up your act. Retire. Add new partners. Try to improve the firm's poor reputation

Pros: Whenever the day ends in a positive. Weekends are a positive too.

Cons: All of the attorneys are competitive with each other. No partnership potential. Awful reputation in the field from plaintiff's attorneys to defense attorneys. The judiciary dislikes this firm due to the attorneys being unprepared. 15-18 attorneys left the firm and the firm has not given an honest answer why. There are no paralegals. Each secretary works for ten attorneys,

Advice to law firm management: Fire all partners and start from scratch. As is has been said, " you are what your record says you are." You reputation in the field and with the judiciary sucks.

Pros: There are no pros at this firm.

Cons: No chance for partnership. No team environment. Awful reputation with the bar and the judiciary. No bonus'. No raises. Unrealistic billing requirements. No para legals. On secretary for ten attorneys, The pay and the management suck.

Pros: There is enough work. Parking in New Jersey is good although is sucks in Philadelphia.

Cons: No supervision and/or direction. Unrealistic billing requirements. Little to no support staff. Awful reputation with the bar and the judiciary. Almost none of the attorneys have trial experience. Overpaying on almost all cases. The partners have little to no trial experience.

Advice to law firm management: Start to manage. Listen to attorneys. Be honest for a change. Make new partners. Share the wealth. Understand that the reputation for the firm with the bar and the judiciary is awful. No one likes this firm.

Pros: Fair to good office. Amazing vernacular about the firm. Many of the staff have smiles on their faces.

Cons: The partners suck! There is no team environment. Everyone is only out for themselves. 18 employees left the firm and at least 15 lawyers left and all one can discover is the "party line." Dishonest at the interview. Billing requirement is silly. Little to no training with the office systems. Not permitted to work on Saturday. Over pay on almost all cases. No one at the firm tries a case. No one know about R 4:25-7.

Advice to law firm management: Begin to manage. Reward the good attorneys. Reasonably compensate the attorneys. All associates to become partners. Eliminate this BS "of counsel."

Pros: This is difficult. The commute is easy. Parking is very, very good. The inside office is fair.

Cons: Almost no one at this firm has experience. All anyone cares for is billable hours. Not permitted to work on weekends. There is no management. There is no team environment. The firm does not have a brief bank. No para legal help. The software sucks and the hardware is almost as poor. Weekly meetings. The secretaries are in charge. Adversaries from other firms laugh at this firm. The pay at this firm sucks. There are no bonus'.

Advice to law firm management: Encourage attorneys to try more cases. Have the associates take a course on "team environment." Try and stay engaged and pay attention to the way the firm operates and what outside attorneys say about this firm. Moreoverm, try and be honest.

Pros: The drive to the office was easy. The parking lot is free and it is big. As a result, parking is never an issue,.

Cons: No one at the firm has trial experience. All anyone is concerned with is billing. There is no team environment. Everyone only cares for themselves. The legal experience from the associates sucks! Adversaries in the field, plaintiffs and defendants dislike this firm. The firm is always adjourning depositions. No one at this firm know how to take a deposition and they merely follow a form. The firm almost always over pays on cases. The partners have no idea of what everyone thinks of this firm.

Advice to law firm management: Listen to what the outside world is saying about this firm. The firm reputation is not good. Pay staff fairly and perhaps there will not be as much turnover.

Pros: The office is a nice building. Parking is easy and there are a lot of parking spaces. There are a few nice competent attorneys.

Cons: No one had an answer why 18 employees left the firm including 15 attorneys. All that I was given was the "party line." It was as if I was in the Soviet Union. All that the firm cares about is billing. The firm does not keep a brief library. There is no para-legal help. On secretary works for seven attorneys. Impossible to get an adjournment. Management ignores complaints.

Pros: A very nice office. Friendly attorneys.

Cons: Inexperienced attorneys. Lack of decorum throughout. Not understanding the way that members of the bar treat one another. Very poor legal work product. Not understanding of how to try a case. No one in the firm is honest. No one could explain why 18 employees left the firm and went to another firm,.

Advice to law firm management: Hire better attorneys,. Supervise the miserable work product,

Pros: The only pro is that when settlement came around, this firm paid almost double what they should have paid and my carrier paid very, very little.

Cons: Attorney in the case would not pick up the phone. Had to file a motion to get anything from the Marx & O'Neil attorney. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told "no." Impossible to confirm depositions. The Attorney would show up for depositions and for court late.

Advice to law firm management: Be honest with everyone. Let the attorneys know what is expected of them,. Moreover bring in new management which can do a better job than the existing management.

Pros: Unable to articulate one positive other than going home each day

Cons: 18 employees recently left the firm. At least 15 of the employees were attorneys. The attorneys left for reasons. When I asked about this, I was not given the truth. It was given the party line which was laughable. Having worked here, I now see why so many employees left.
