BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

with a lot of pushback from attorneys and partners.

Ryan Swanson Cleveland is a law firm known for its competitive pay, great benefits, and commitment to promoting from within. Employees and attorneys feel valued and respected by the firm's management and HR, and are encouraged to bring any concerns to them. The firm offers a generous 401k matching program, sabbaticals to long-term employees, and good leave options. Medical, dental, and vision insurance is also covered by the firm. However, there have been some improvements that could be made. Parking reimbursements are low, and there is a lack of communication from management and HR. There is also a lack of a training and mentoring structure in place, as well as a consistent performance evaluation structure. Working long hours week after week is the norm for employees, and those in support roles often receive pushback from attorneys and partners. All in all, Ryan Swanson Cleveland is a great place to work, with a few areas that need improvement. The firm is always looking to better the employee experience and is open to hearing feedback.

Pros: 5.0 Former Employee, more than 10 yearsAs good as it gets....Jan 12, 2019 - Anonymous Employee ProsToo many to mention.. but I'd start with team work is actually a real thing there it's not just words. Clearly that's not always the case in every situation or environment.ConsEvery place has hiccups from time to time but the only down side I can think of is size which I don't know if that qualifies? If you're looking to move up the ranks it's a bit tricky because they tend to keep people, there's rarely any turnover.

Advice to law firm management: Fire Hans Juhl,
The world has had enough of the corrupt lawyers that will try to put people that are not at all incapacitated into full permanent guardianships and Conservatorships. This lawyer will say that he is working representing someone's best interests and go against them at every turn. Lawyers like this ruin lives law firms that condone it take part.

Pros: Don't work there unless you are corrupt, this may be a prerequisite.

Cons: Hans Juhl

Current or former employee?: Current Employee

Job type: Freelance
