Salary & Benefits

Cahill Gordon pays associates of every graduating class at the top of the market. Salaries at the firm are set on a lock-step system, with all full-time associates receiving the same salary and bonus as others in their class. The compensation for entry-level lawyers stands at $ 160,000 per year.

Summer associates get $ 3077 per annum. For the bonuses payments, the firm has been a follower in terms of setting bonus amounts.

Cahill offers its associates a discount membership to the New York Sports Club and a technology stipend of $2,000 in the associate's first year and $1,000 annually thereafter. Besides regular annual vacation for attorneys, the firm also offers 12 weeks of paid maternity leave and four weeks of paid paternity leave.
