BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

take it anymore and left.

Cadwalader Wickersham is one of the top law firms in the United States, with a long history of providing high quality legal services to its clients. The firm is based in New York City, and its attorneys have experience in a variety of legal areas, including corporate law, litigation, and finance. Reviews of Cadwalader Wickersham are generally positive, with many praising the firm for its collegial environment, great staff benefits, flexible work-from-home scheme, and top-notch financial expertise. Additionally, many former employees were able to find employment at the firm after initially working as paralegals.

However, there are a few areas where the firm could improve. Employees have complained about a lack of investment in administrative staff, and some have reported a hostile work environment. Additionally, there have been reports of long hours, a lack of work-life balance, and a drudgery or stuffy atmosphere. The booking system could also use improvement, as could the structure of the litigation group.

Overall, Cadwalader Wickersham is a well-respected firm that provides a great work experience for many of its employees. The firm offers excellent benefits, flexible work arrangements, and great legal expertise. However, there are still a few areas where the firm could improve, such as its investment in administrative staff, its booking system, and its structure of its litigation group.

"The firm discriminates against associates who are not sycophants to the partners and any person with a disabiliti" - Anonymous

Advice to law firm management: Respect the Americans with Disabilities Act and stop caving into the extreme left agenda by devoting so much pro bono time to woke causes that benefit only a negligible portion of the population.

Pros: There are no pros. The culture is littered with nepotism and favored junior associates will be preferred for constructive and high end legal work over more senior associates on the same deal that may have a disability or who are not brown nosing the partners.

Cons: The firm engages in blatant discrimination against attorneys with disabilities or who have mental health issues. The firm has no compunction in kicking out of favor associates to the curb with no right to be heard and no warning that the termination was even being considered.

Partners to Avoid and Why: Joseph Beach. He will be friendly to your face while duplicity setting you up for a stealth layoff that accuses you of low hours and poor performance when in fact if he was doing his job the billable work would be available.
