Reviews from attorneys and other employees show that the firm has a positive atmosphere and work environment, with a laid back atmosphere, no manager pressure, and hybrid and remote work schedules. It also has great benefits packages, early dismissals and holiday observances, diversity and inclusion awards, and a great team environment. The salary is competitive and employees have mentioned that the people are very nice. The firm also has very capable colleagues who are also practical and have great teamwork across offices.
However, there are some negatives that have been mentioned in reviews. Low income for the scope of work, micro-managing, no room for advancement, high turnover rate for attorneys and staff, and a toxic environment have been mentioned as issues. Additionally, the parking is not paid for, there is a long commute, expensive parking, bonuses are not offered, and there is a lack of opportunity for advancement. The systems in place also make it difficult to complete work quickly.
Despite the negatives, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney seems to be a good place to work and grow, with a positive and friendly work environment. The firm has an innovative approach to business development and marketing, and employees are challenged every day. It is a great place to start a career, as there is mentorship, strong collaboration, and employees are paid fairly.

Cons: I recently had an unfortunate experience in a job that offered few benefits. The only positive aspect was receiving a regular paycheck. However, this was outweighed by a number of negative factors. There were no bonuses offered, and the office manager was terrible. Additionally, the work environment was toxic and contributed to a miserable overall experience. I was relieved when my time at this job came to an end. It is important to consider all aspects of a job, not just the salary, when evaluating potential employment opportunities.
