BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

.

Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons is a large firm with a strong presence in the legal industry. Many reviews from attorneys and others who have worked at the firm have been positive, citing the firm's vast practice experience, the skilled attorneys at their disposal, the industry training offered, and the availability of trial and pre-trial experience for even the newest attorneys. Additionally, the firm offers sustainable benefits and the larger firm culture can be a plus for those looking to move to a firm with more structure.

However, there are some negative reviews as well. The workload is quite heavy, and unfortunately the compensation does not match up with the amount of hours expected. The culture has been described as lacking diversity and community leadership, and it was likened to high school until a partner's terminal illness brought it back to reality. Additionally, the salary has been described as low with high billables, and it can be hard to get work and hard to work with some of the partners personality-wise.

Overall, Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons appears to be a large and successful law firm with many positives, however there are some drawbacks as well. It is important for potential attorneys to weigh the pros and cons for themselves before making a decision.
