Description:
In this video, legal recruiter Harrison Barnes greatly recommends a simple attorney resume. Many people are concerned with the length of their resumes. Still, a shorter profile can sometimes be better; because it allows you to highlight your strengths and qualifications without any unnecessary details cluttering up space on what should be one concise document. A short resume will also give employers an idea about whether or not they want to read more information before deciding if this person has all of the qualities that would make them a good candidate for employment opportunities at their company. Below are the advantages of formatting your resume to a simple one:
- A short and straightforward resume can help you stand out from the rest of the applicants.
- It is easier to read a short resume than one that has tons of unnecessary information.
- It is more difficult for an employer to find reasons not to hire you if your resume isn't long or complicated.
- The shorter and simpler, the better - employers don't have all day to read through your life story on paper.
- Employers want someone who will do their job without any problems, so why would they want a person with a confusingly written resume.
- Shorten your work history timeline by only including jobs relevant to this position/industry to avoid wasting time reading irrelevant information about what you did in high school or college (unless it's directly related).

here, we get all this stuff here, again, the same kind of resume.
And I'm really glad that anybody that has submitted the resume, this is just awesome because this is very helpful for everyone here. All this stuff here this is great experience this person had and what a nice place to work in Birmingham, Michigan I've from actually. But all this stuff needs to go in the the in the in the transaction sheet or something that goes to the end. And and then, obviously you have references obviously you're proficient in multi-center things and there's credit coffin or Detroit.
I didn't even know there was a bloke, a little Tesco near the risk officer and cause loss are close and then there was Seaholm or no handover. I don't know, but, okay the point is that you need to this, all this stuff could go on and transaction sheet, and this is enough information here.
And then and then as a real estate attorney, you should have no problem getting a position in Detroit if you apply to a lot of places, but this is a great resume. What I like about this resume too, by the way, is it's just very simple. Look at all this experiences person that they've been working since they graduated from law school in 1995 and compare it.
This resume where all this stuff's going on or this resume, and the person that graduated in 1995, like we know exactly what this person is. I would be very comfortable walking into this person with any type of real estate deal and giving it to them or working on giving them some sort of corporate work.
And I know they would know how to do it and I wouldn't have any concerns. This is, and I would know exactly, because I'm from this area of the country, I know what kind of person this person is, but I know I would be very comfortable working with them and gave him work. And so it's just, it's, what kind of person this is, it's not confusing when you see this.
You're like, what the hell is going on? You've got all these foreign schools and J, D S kind of degrees I've never heard of, and it's just, you have to, everything needs to look very palatable to the reader. And this is, what's so good about this regimen.
