"If I'm asked to talk about my weaknesses, do I need to talk about any specific instances or is it enough to speak in general terms?" I think talking in general terms is appropriate. You can talk in general what your weaknesses are, but I think when you start giving specific examples, a lot of times people can read a little bit too much into that. And so you want to be as careful as you possibly can with the answers and just being as general as possible.
