I think you need to just continually market yourself to as many firms as you possibly can, regardless of whether they have openings. There are some videos about finding jobs and recessions and all sorts of things on oar.com. I would look that up and look at those videos, and there may be some videos of that on BCG, but you need to be very aggressive.
And the more you study the material on bcgsearch.com. It can be very helpful. Because there's a lot of advice about how to get jobs and so forth on BCG, that can help.
