What Happens Next

• If accepted: We build a custom list of the best-fit jobs and firms for you after a comprehensive review of your background and experience. This list is highly targeted to maximize your chances of success. In most cases, we will also call and interview you to better understand your career goals.
• Your approval: You will be asked to approve or decline firms in your account immediately, because speed is critical in legal hiring. You can either review and approve firms manually, or give BCG authorization to run your search on your behalf. With authorization, you can sit back and let us confidentially market you while you focus on preparing for interviews.
• Call, Questionnaire & Next Steps: Once you approve your search, we will contact you to begin creating application materials and collect any additional information firms may request (transcripts, writing samples, salary details, etc.). You may also be asked to complete a short questionnaire so we have the fullest picture of your strengths. We then write targeted, in-depth cover letters that highlight your value to firms, and we interact directly with firms as questions arise.
• Ongoing Support & Jobs: From the moment your search begins, you will receive a steady flow of new positions to review and approve. If you've authorized us, we will immediately submit you to new opportunities, research additional firms in your market, and pursue every possible opening on your behalf. We continually follow up with firms we have introduced you to until you secure the right position.
• Interview Scheduling, Preparation & Offer Negotiation: When interviews begin, we handle scheduling, provide you with tailored preparation, and communicate directly with firms to ensure the process runs smoothly. Once offers arrive, we work closely with you to evaluate options, negotiate the strongest terms, and help you secure the position that best advances your career.
