Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate to join the Global Transportation Finance team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team on complex international and domestic transactions, focusing on financing, leasing, acquisition, and more within the aviation, rail, and maritime sectors.

Duties

• Collaborate with shareholders on business development and client-facing activities.
• Engage in the financing, leasing, and acquisition of transportation assets.
• Participate in restructuring and enforcement of asset transactions.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously with strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm.
• Experience in securitization, leveraged finance, or related fields.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills.
• Admitted in or taking steps to become admitted in California.

Education

• J.D. degree or equivalent with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted to the California Bar or eligible for admission.
