  • Handle appellate matters, including brief writing and oral argument preparation.
  • Research complex legal issues and craft appellate arguments.
  • Represent clients in Texas and New Mexico courts, coordinating with local counsel as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and seek new business opportunities.
  • Research and interpret commercial law and prepare legal memoranda.
  • Contribute to firm development efforts and stay current on legal developments.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and record billable hours accurately.
  • Travel as necessary for court proceedings and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Texas (New Mexico admission preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).

Education
