Duties

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Analyze medical records and expert reports.
• Provide timely and strategic reporting to insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with partners and litigation team members on case strategy.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license and in good standing with the Oregon and/or Washington State Bar.
• 1-6 years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense preferred).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
