Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Pre-Litigation Attorney in Century City, CA. This role offers an opportunity to manage personal injury claims, negotiate settlements, and develop case strategies in a collaborative, high-volume environment. Duties

  • Manage a pre-litigation caseload from onboarding through settlement or litigation referral.
  • Review case facts, liability, injuries, treatment progress, and damages exposure.
  • Develop and implement case strategy in coordination with staff and leadership.
  • Conduct attorney-client calls and maintain regular communication with clients.
  • Review and approve settlement demands and supporting documentation.
  • Negotiate bodily injury claims with insurance adjusters.
  • Conduct regular file audits to ensure cases are progressing appropriately.
  • Work closely with pre-litigation staff, department leadership, and intake teams.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • 1-3 years of personal injury experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Experience with case management systems such as Litify, Filevine, or similar is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
