Baton Rouge office of our client seeks immigration attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate will supervise, manage and lead a team of paralegals in preparing petitions/applications for various NIV and IV immigration cases, including: temporary work visas (H-1B, L, E-1/2, EN O-1, J); I-140 (EB-1, 2, 3, including national interest waivers); I-485, including consular processing; applications for employment authorization documents; travel documents; replacement I-94; I-90. Will serve in research law, procedure and keep track of immigration law updates. Supervise client intakes, client mailings and submissions to various immigration offices. Coordination of RFE deadlines and other calendars, along with advising corporate clients. Draft supporting letters, RFE responses and client correspondence. Representing clients before the Federal Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals and Federal Circuit Courts. Advising clients on immigration matters. Case management and general legal duties related to effective client representation. Should be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Louisiana. Ability to speak Spanish or any other language is highly preferred. Some experience gained through previous employment or law school clinic in immigration law, including removal, asylum, family, and employment-based petitions and consular processing are encouraged to apply.

The candidate must have graduated from an ABA accredited law school. Should possess strong academics, excellent writing skills and be comfortable with public speaking in the courtroom. This position requires attention to detail, effective multitasking, communication skills, and execution of duties with professionalism.
